The Dreams In Which You Die (Leather, 2022) was the first short film that I produced alone- a team of three- myself and two actors (Jack Redmayne and Lola Thatcher).
It was a five day shoot, mainly due to the numerous locations and specific times of day in which it was shot, and had a £50 budget which was given to Jack as petrol compensation.
The film had a two month turn around period, from conception to edit, and by January 2023, it had been entered into a selection of film festivals, to which it received a great response.
SECRET SLEEPERS (Carson, 2023)
Secret Sleepers was screened at the Raindance Film Festival in London, 2024.
The film is a portrayal of a complex, clandestine romantic relationship between two ‘friends’. The film is just as much of a dialogue between Jake and Billy (our protagonists) as it is a dialogue between each boy and himself. There is a push - pull dynamic of lust and denial. It is a moments insight in the shifting of power within strong emotional connections.
I worked as Producer and Director of Photography, which was a challenging but rewarding project between logic, organisation, business and creativity.
